    Do I need an appointment to see an apartment at Jefferson West?

    We encourage you to call ahead to make an appointment to view an apartment, but you are welcome to come to our leasing office anytime during business hours 8am-5pm Monday – Friday and 9am-noon on Saturday.

    Can I see an apartment before I submit an application?

    Absolutely! Before you move in, we want you to visit our community and pick the apartment that best meets your needs.

    Is there an application fee?

    Yes, we have a $35 application fee. The fee is used to check your credit history and verify both employment and previous landlord information. If two unrelated individuals want to occupy the same apartment, two application fees are required, as well as the last two pay stubs (per person).

    Do you accept pets?

    We do not accept pets other than pets that are medically necessary for living such as a seeing-eye dog.

    Are handicap apartments available?

    Yes, we have a number of units that have been built or modified for handicap accessibility. Please call to check on availability.

    How can I hold an apartment?

    Once your application is approved you must put down a security deposit to hold your apartment. Apartments can be held for a maximum of 10 days.

    When is my rent due?

    Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is late on the 5th. If you move in, in the middle of the month your rent will be pro-rated.

    What benefits are included in my rent?

    Most of our apartments include water, sewer and trash services. There are many other amenities that are included depending upon the location of your apartment.

    What if I break my lease?

    Your lease is a legal contract between you and the apartment community. If a lease is broken, there will be penalties. The charges are based on the number of months remaining on the lease. You are required to give a 30 day notice from the 1st of the month and pay a full months rent. The security deposit cannot be used for payment of rent.

    Do you have assigned parking?

    We do not have assigned parking. The parking lots are large and will accommodate 2 cars per apartment. If you have visitors, please ask them not to park directly in front of the building.

    How can I get a package if it is delivered when I’m not at home?

    We will accept packages for our residents in the business office through UPS, FED-X or DHL. Packages sent through the US Post Office will need to be picked up at the location instructed by carrier.

    If I get a roommate will I need to do anything before moving in?

    We will require a $35 application fee and an additional $75 security deposit. The roommate must meet all of the criteria you met to qualify. Rent will increase by $10.00 per month.

    How do I report a maintenance problem?

    You may call the leasing office during office hours or leave a message after hours or submit a maintenance request through your tenant portal. Please leave a phone number and tell us if we have permission to enter your apartment when you are not at home.
